Thoroughly enjoyed this article :-) !

Yes, I occasionally house-sit for a poodle who climbs up onto a leather couch when I'm out of the room, and jumps down when she hears me coming in the hall...how do I know she was up there? Her favorite spot on the couch is toasty warm.

Concerning the park, I'm sure Sedona knows what's best.

After a morning of working at a coffee shop, I decided to return home for lunch. As my key was in the door, I heard my dog, Sedona, jump. That little shit was on the couch (where she is not allowed!). And then she acted like she was waiting to greet me when I opened the door. This dog, by the way, has crazy good hearing and crazy good sense of smell. She once only perked up and tilted her head when someone she knew came in unannounced. Whenever it's someone she doesn't know, she barks. True story.

But usually Sedona doesn't try to fool me. She likes to blatantly try to defy me. Again, this afternoon, when I took her out to go potty I dragged her in a patch of grass nearby. She halted. But once she stared at me for 5 minutes, I took her to the park instead. She peed the second we got there. This dog...
