When it comes to predicting what topics will get the most hits, I advance a tenuous guess that the gender-issue posts kick up the most dust, based on my experience. But in general, trying to pick a popular topic seems like a total crap shoot, and I always seem to be surprised by the blog posts that get tons of hits/feedback/shares. But of course the ones I labor over the most are never anyone else’s favorite.

These things are always hilarious and never make any sense. My biggest search term was always fat-cat, so I finally gave in and wrote a post called fat-cat. But it didn’t get that many hits. Go figure.
